Soul Samui, The Perfect Travelling Dress? Just may be

When we were staying on Koh Samui at the beginning of our adventures we stumbled across Soul Samui in Lamai selling beautiful lightweight womens clothing. I had struggled to find the right dresses to bring with me. Ones that were lightweight but durable, flattering but also practical for both beach and museums, in liberal and religious areas. Not a small feat I agree. So was wonderfully happy to fall in love with a pale green floaty and really reasonably priced dress and for the next week wore practically nothing else.

About a week later, so enamoured was I with the dress, we went back to get another one, but they were shut, and the next day, and the next, until in a panic I searched the internet for contact details and messaged the owners on facebook to find out they returned in a few days, just in time before we left for Malaysia. At which point I bought another one. They have been my go to dresses for the last 3 months, they are long and loose with a lovely shape. I’ve found them to be the perfect dress while travelling. They roll up to nothing and any wrinkles drop out within minutes of wearing. They have a strappy racerback, awesome with or without a bandeau top and can also be worn with a tshirt or long top underneath when modesty is required.

I have worn them so much that I emailed Paola, the incredibly accommodating and wonderfully talented designer and asked if she would be willing to send me two more dresses. Thankfully she was and sent me pictures of the new colours. Not only did Paola ship them to me care of our friends in Singapore, she also included a beautiful bracelet as a gift with the parcel. This really is service with a smile.
