A yearning for social media…

…I wonder how @Paxochka is…I thought randomly this morning, I miss seeing Bogie and Astrid I thought next, oh and Kirsten and on and on my thoughts go.

As the days go by with no access to social media because of the great firewall of china I find I appreciate the time to read or simply do nothing more and the lack of contact, less. 

I like seeing the peeks into other peoples lives that instagram and twitter allows. I like reading your thoughts and seeing your pets and fine even your children, in moderation! I like seeing new purchases, your lovely faces,  (again and most definitely in moderation😂) the things you choose to share are a welcome part of my world. I like seeing yours and I like sharing mine.

I like seeing on facebook what my friends and family are up to and being told whose birthday is next. I LIKE IT! 

I do not like not being able to see and read these things.

I do not like not being able to share my own. 

I’ve never seen social media as a problem or an addiction, for me it has always been about connection. So even though I am not currently liking your status or your tweet or your photo, I am most definitely wishing that I were…well… you know…as well as being able to see all the cool stuff in China Xx
