China, G Adventures

I’m pausing in my story telling as we sit in a truly shite hotel having arrived from an overnight train this morning and endured a stupidly rushed day, while I contemplate getting on yet another overnight train in 24 short hours after another overly crowded day, BOLLOCKS. 

It seems so many people complained about the boat portion of this trip that G Adventures in their wisdom stripped back our time in Xian making it so rushed as to be ridiculous and swapped a 2hr plane journey for a 17hr train ride in hard sleepers with no doors ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?! Well no apparently they are not. So I’ll be sticking to the old ‘if you haven’t got anything nice to say don’t say anything at all’ adage until I have something nice to say, because right now all I can focus on is quite how much G Adventures suck.

I am still enjoying being with Ma and J obviously and our group is mostly lovely, particularly the chatty cathies who I am growing very fond of Xx
